skin care!?
just watched a programme on channel four about the truth in the anti-ageing claims beauty companies say. Basically it was proven that its all just a load of bull and if you spend £4 to £80 it'l make no difference. The thing is i have tried everything, from natural skin care, to fancy packaging, to really expensive itmes but nothing agrees with my skin so i was wondering if anyone can give me reviews on their skin care products, my skin has an oily t-zone with dry cheeks and im prone to break outs, and as that programme has just proven you dont need to spend loads so obviously the less i have to pay the better.
i saw the programme as well. i think the main point was to find a cream that suits ur skin. i have an oily tzone and use no7, the green one, after using clarins and other expensive ones for years. have found this suits my skin better.
i tend to get dry cheeks as wekk but have been using cleanse and polish by liz earle and have found it has balanced my skin out. hope this helps

Skin Care Tips:
A daily skin care routine as well as time for yourself is important for a clear complexion: get plenty of rest, make sure you eat healthy, drink 64oz of water daily and try not to stress too much, all of this will help your skin. There are great homemade products for every skin type using ingredients you can find in your kitchen. Or stick with organic products such as Avalon, which is my favorite – other great ideas & organic products at discount prices can be found at peacehut.com as well as a link to Home made Natural Skin Care Tips. You can also find many organic facial products at your local health food store if you prefer not to shop online.
Daily Skin Care Routine:
1) Place a steamy towel over your face for a few moments to open your pores. Not too hot.
2) Cleanse with Hydrating Cleansing Milk, wash off thoroughly
3) With cotton ball, apply Organic Vitamin C Balancing Facial Toner
4) Apply just a little Organic Vitamin C Revitalizing Eye Cream around your eyes
5) Massage Organic Vitamin C Renewal Facial Cream all over your face
6) Finish off with Vitamin C Moisture Plus Lotion with SPF 15 to protect your skin from the sun
Exfoliate then Mask after Cleansing but before Toning
Exfoliate: If you have sensitive skin, exfoliate once a week. If your skin is oily, exfoliate up to 2x weekly. The top layer of skin forms a protective barrier against the environment. Removing too many cells could increase loss of moisture, cause sensitivity, dryness, & irritation
Mask: Regular cleansing removes surface dirt, but only a facial mask will actually draw out impurities from beneath top layers of the epidermis. Mask help stimulate blood circulation & leave your skin smoother and softer and helps exfoliate dead skin cells and unclog pores so toning, hydrating & protecting products work effectively. Generally 1-2x per week for dry skin, 2-3x per week if skin is normal or combination, 3-5x per week for oily skin.
Best wishes ;v

Why not try Simple - they do one with an SPF and it shouldn't irriate your skin. In the summer I really like the face versions of actual sunscreen like Piz Buin or Ambre Soliare as you can get SPF 30 rather than 15. I'm prone to spots too if I use certain products and these don't make me break out.

I highly recommend using this amazing organic oil known as Argan oil. It has been popular in Israel and Morocco for years. It became really popular in Europe when models started using it, and is now found in all the spas and salons, I grew up in France and have been using it for years. It absorbs into the skin really quickly, faster than most creams and lotions. It works wonders for the skin, hair, nails, and skin ailments. It is all around the most beneficial and rarest organic skin care product on the planet. For some reason it only grows in Morocco. I found one website that has the best directions for all its different uses. I contacted them and they said they start selling in two weeks. You can register for a discount now and future promotions.

Hi,
I use Elizabeth Arden Prevage, which works for oily spots. For drier areas, prob No7 as I’ve heard good things about it, although haven’t used it myself.
Hope this helps
