Thanks for the reply. I’m sorry. I meant to say that my knee locks, not pops. And it is painful for a moment. If I get out of the pose right away, I’m fine.

I try to always cycle before I do yoga to warm my knees up. Also I go to physical therapy once a week to learn how to make my knees stronger and less arthritic.

I would say that the standing poses cause the most locking and pain in my knees - especially the warrior poses!

Hey, thanks for saying that, although I didn’t take it that way! The thymus pounding place is located just below the notch at the base of your neck where your collarbones meet. Sorry if it was confusing! I’m so happy you like the PodcastGO vids–they are a great company. Also, popping joints are normal, unless there’s pain. You should hear my ankle! Just open your leg and hip muscles as much as you can and it should lessen…xoxo! Sadie

Sorry Sadie. I feel like my last comment here sounded rude. I must have been in a fuzz that day! I just wanted to say that just in case I came off that way to you.

By the way, I downloaded A LOT of your videos on the PodcastGO site. You, again, are awesome!!

And please make a video for people that have popping knees. Yoga can get frustrating when my knees pops and I have to stop my pose! Argh!

I just did that and will continue doing this when I am seated at my desk at work when I get a chance.

By the way, I can’t find the “notch” (?) in my Thymus to save my life. Is there a better way to find it. And all I need to do is pound two inches below it, right?

    Thank you, Sadie!

See–you DO have a Sadie in your house!!

Doing any rounded yoga practice is a great way to balance and stimulate your hormones. Closing your eyes and looking towards both your nose, then your forehead is a powerful way to balance your pituitary. Plus, inversions are a great healer.
Good luck, and let me know how you’re doing!

Do it 4-5 times a day when you feel allergic. Of course, I’m allergic to cats and no amount of yoga helps there. It’s half a Claritin for me, plus the neti really helps too;). Just please talk to your parents and doctor before trying any allergy medication.
Also, you’ll probably grow out of it, but until then, the neti can be your best friend.
    All my love, sister!

    Hey Kadri,
    Thanks for your post, girl!
Listen, balancing your hormonal system is great for you, and it helps you not get sick as much and look younger, but allergies are caused by a histamine response. I’d check out the neti pot, learn how to use it. It was on Oprah so it’s not that wierd;) It’s the gentlest, most natural thing you can do to keep the pollen out of your sinuses and from going into your whole system.

Wow. Your classes are awesome. I had a pituitary tumor removed about a year ago and my doctors aren’t sure if I am cured from Cushings Disease or not (still testing). I am going to try these poses out. You inspire me, and I wish we had a Sadie Nardini where I lived!!

Hi there, it is excellent to read your post.
You can also try resting with your legs up the wall, hips on a yoga block, so you get a passive inversion, for 5 minutes, closing your eyes and looking up at your forehead or down at your nose. This is said to detox you, balance the endocrine, and stimulate the glands from the thyroid upward. Great for you! Let me know how it’s going. Sadie

    Hey Sadie!
This is yoga for immunity, so, will it help me with my hay fever too?
Hay fever and immune system are linked to each other, right?
ah, I just don’t know what to do with my hay fever, I’m 14 and had it for 6 years, not good when in summers I can’t go out because some plants are blooming.
    Love you so much Sadie!

Hi Sadi, I found you on YouTube after learning about restorative yoga. I’m 55 and supposedly have hypothyroidism (mild). I am reading how various poses help the endocrine system (thyroid). I love this video you did for immunity and your offer to help with specific yoga moves. Help! I’ve been doing your immunity video for about a week now along with the rest of my exercise program. Really feel great after completion. Thanks so much for sharing so much about yoga with all of us on the internet.

Hi Sadie, is this core salutatio similar to sun salutation? I am sorry I have actually asked in your other video response. Thank you.

  16. sadienardini Says:

    Yes, as anxiety is …
Yes, as anxiety is caused by hormones, like adrenaline. Do this three times through, after warming up with a Core Salutation, and then end with the Core Strength for Beginners, Pigeon Pose, and a long legs-up-the-wall pose. . All of these help balance the adrenals and also at the end, cool and calm the system. Regulate your breath, breathing deeply and evenly through your nose. If you breathe short, and in your upper chest, you can actually stimulate an anxiety response. So daily, breathe deep!

    Hi there,

I can’t say if it would stimulate more growth, but balancing the pituitary is thought to give you a good chance of reaching your body’s optimal potential. So rock it and whatever height you are, you’ll be healthy, and amazing!

Anything that incorporates hip opening, abdominal work, twists, inversions, the forehead pressure and breath will help to reset the endocrine system.

Let me know what else you’d like to see…I take requests:)

    peace,
    Sadie
